1/3 cup agave syrup

Unless you're using baby carrots, which one can leave as they are, peel and slice your carrots into 1/2-inch-thick pieces

Place carrots in a large saucepan and cover with water.

Boil until slightly tender, about 10 minutes.

Drain and return to pan.

Add remaining ingredients, mixing well.

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Place into a covered casserole dish and bake, covered, for 20 minutes.
